Wineries are plentiful in Mendocino County and both tours and tastings are popular. Dozens of wineries are located around the towns of Philo, Boonville, Ukiah and Hopland. The historic Skunk Train invites visitors to ride from the centers of Fort Bragg on the coast to Willits, located in Interior Mendocino. The train travels through redwood forests and meadows and offers a genuine look at the region’s splendor. Romantics enjoy the oceanfront bed and breakfasts and bistros in the villages of Mendocino and Elk.
